Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) starts in earnest on Feb. 11th downtown, giving you multiple days to plan a fun event. Thursday night kicks off with Galentine’s, a party at 421 Texas Street specifically for ladies. The 6;30-9:30 event features passed hors d’oeuvres, build your own charcuterie board bar, dessert bar by Whisk, complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival and music by TD McMurray. Tickets are available here.
From there, it’s non stop straight through until the big day. See the list of Valentine Events Here.
If you’re planning to forego an event for a gift this year, The Agora Borealis, Appli-K’s Embroidery and Gifts, artspace and C&C Mercantile and Lighting all have wonderful options for your special someone, from Happy Everything plates and serving pieces at Appli-K’s, 624 Texas Street behind Rhino Coffee to a vintage chandelier from C&C Mercantile and Lighting, 1100 Texas Avenue, fun jewelry from The Agora Borealis, 421 Lake St. or locally-produced artist wares from artspace, 708 Texas Street.
